Meet the team
James Woodcock
Technical and strategic expertise
Jim has spent the last 15 years immersed in additive manufacturing, working on content and strategy for the industry’s leading media and events brands globally. He’s written case studies and white papers and moderated conferences; he’s hosted webinars and panel sessions; recorded podcasts and videos.
Jim loves the AM industry and believes in the technologies, but he’s also quick to tell you that he believes that AM is in a bit of a funk. It’s a solution looking for a problem. And we (the ‘industry’) spend a lot of time preaching to the converted.
There is a bright future for additive but getting to it means changing the way we talk and who we talk to.
Jim helps companies focus on the manufacturing and less on the additive.
