Earned media is what others say about you — not what you say about yourself. It’s the coverage, mentions, interviews, backlinks, and recognition you earn by being useful to someone else, usually by providing information their audience wants and needs.
Think press articles, podcast guest spots, influencer shoutouts, or industry awards. Unlike owned and (to an extent) bought media, you don’t control the platform — but the credibility it brings can be incredibly powerful.
